Live Performance art work

This piece was painted live at the Volte gallery, Wolverhampton at the S.I.N exhibtion launch night on september 3rd. The board was mounted above a 10ft tall scaffholding tower on which Sketch athletically worked his way up and proceeded to paint along side a semi naked model, leaving his mark on the model before dismounting the stage. Sketch later retured, to demolish this composition in true Graffiti fashion leaving the message "my mind...mine!". To add to this explosive sensory experience, Toni&Guy provided a full hair show of models wrapped and splatted in true british colours to a very entertained and shocked audience.

Sketch86

Initially attracted to Hip Hop music and dance Sketch86 found himself drawn to art. Expressing himself through the medium of paint he creates portrayals, interpretations or depictions of images on surfaces that are not always the usual means for expression when using the tools of graffiti.

His art fuses literature and words with pictures he uses letters to complete pictures in colours that are rich, juicy and vibrant; alive almost - imbuing his art with an energy that is provocative to the onlooker.
